Sale pending but not finalized as of this writing/posting

Well, this instrument has found plenty of admirers, one of whom is a hair away from finalizing their purchase. The transaction is not completed, and as soon as it is, the fact will be noted here.

At the moment, no further offerings are in this pipeline, but my pics of the Buescher Clarinet are here for a while, please give a credit line to the photographer, © by Edward Huse 2010 (edhuse.com).

more clarinet pics

This handsome and hard to find 1928 Buescher Clarinet is ready to travel - we are 99% sure that it is a Bb (B-flat).

The box has wooden panels within the outer cardboard box, and the instrument and accessories are cushioned within the original case, which is wrapped in brown paper and a plastic bag, all nested within the wood/cardboard box, tucked in with plastic stuffing. It is safe as can be. The box weighs eleven pounds

1928 Buescher Clarinet available, in very nice condition

As advertised for sale on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200437754071

A nice Buescher Clarinet, this instrument even comes with it's Original Case - a hard case sporting a handsome green velvet interior, black "leatherette" outer covering, leather-bound handle, chromed fittings and brass label.
It has been kept for years out of circulation, and is in very good condition, a beautiful example of it's type, and apparently very hard to find in any condition.
This instrument is a shiny bright and clean, hard to find, quality metal clarinet - it is the sought-after one, the one with the beautiful etched bell with the adjustable "screw style" barrel. The engraving on the bell is depicted in the accompanying photos here, please see stansfurn.blogspot.com for more pictures of this offering.
Also included is the music holder, one original mouthpiece, and the original black case with rich green velvet inside.
The case has some wear and one old repair to a corner of the covering.
The serial number dates this clarinet to 1928.
It very likely only needs to be cleaned and the pads could be replaced, (when we used to play it we changed the pads regularly).
